RNC Statement on Biden Choosing Vacation over East Palestine

WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on Biden’s choice to take another vacation instead of visiting East Palestine, Ohio:

“For Biden, it’s vacation first, the American people last. One month after the toxic train disaster in East Palestine, Ohio, Biden is heading out on yet another weekend trip after already spending eight days on vacation since the derailment. Leadership shows up, Biden does not.”

  • Since taking office, Biden has spent 305 days — 40% of his presidency — on vacation. 
    • This weekend will represent Biden’s 306th, 307th, and 308th vacation days. 
  • Including this weekend, Biden has spent 55 of 110 weekends in Delaware since taking office.
