RNC Statement on Congressional Hispanic Caucus Meeting with Biden

Press Release

WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Communications Director Danielle Alvarez released the following statement on the Congressional Hispanic Caucus meeting with Biden:

“Panic has set in for Democrats as poll after poll show they are underwater with Hispanic Americans, who are paying the price for Biden’s failed agenda on the economy, border, crime, COVID-19, and more. Democrats are out of touch and will be out of time to fix their failures come November.”

Background:

  • Poll after poll finds that Joe Biden, Democrats, and their policies are unpopular with Hispanic voters.
    • The latest Quinnipiac poll finds Joe Biden with a 26% approval rating among Hispanics — lower than his rating among whites, which hit a new low at 33% in the same poll.
    • The Wall Street Journal found that Hispanic voters said they would back a Republican candidate for Congress over a Democrat by 9 percentage points.
