Committee (RNC) Chairman Joe Gruters released the following statement after
President Trump’s address to the nation and news conference with military
leaders on the successful rescue mission in Iran:
“After addressing the
nation and standing alongside our military leaders, President Trump made clear
just how extraordinary this operation was, executing one of the most dangerous
rescue missions in modern history to bring an American servicemember home from
deep inside hostile Iranian territory,” said Chairman Gruters. “While
our military executed this mission with precision and courage, Democrats like
Tim Kaine were busy rooting for failure
and parroting the talking points of our adversaries. It is beyond disgraceful.
President Trump has made clear that under his leadership, America does not
hesitate, America does not apologize, and America does not leave its own
behind.”
