RNC Statement on February Producer Price Index

WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on February's Producer Price Index:
 
“Prices are skyrocketing, real wages continue to fall, and Americans are being left behind in Biden’s failed economy. Biden and the Democrats have no one to blame but themselves and their reckless spending agenda for the highest producer price increase on record. Their failures are devastating to American small businesses, families, and workers.” 
 
Background: 

• The Producer Price Index rose by 10 percent since last year, the highest increase on record. 
  • This is the eleventh consecutive month producer price increases have hit record highs. 
  • Core producer prices – which takes out food and energy – also increased at a near record 8.4 percent.
