WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the RNC's legal action against the Biden administration's forced vaccine mandate:

Background:

• The RNC is filing a stay petition in DC Circuit Court in order to challenge unlawful overreach from the Biden administration.
• The Biden administration does not have the authority to impose this burdensome mandate on small businesses employing hardworking Americans.
• OSHA has failed to meet the standards required to implement an Emergency Temporary Standard.
  • The Biden administration's claim of "emergency" is further undermined by their decision to move the deadline for the mandate to January 4th -- after the holidays, two months from now.
  • This timing is political, not grounded in any real concept of "emergency."
