RNC Statement on John Fetterman Admitting Democrats Are Responsible for the Government Shutdown

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Joe Gruters released the following statement after Senator John Fetterman admitted the Democrat Party is responsible for the reckless government shutdown:
 
“After weeks of Democrats spreading lies to deflect blame, Senator John Fetterman said the quiet part out loud: ‘Shutting down the government is really what the Democratic Party wants to do,’” said Chairman Gruters. “Fetterman even admitted that Obamacare subsidies were designed by the Democrats to expire. Democrats caused this shutdown, they’re responsible for the expiration of their own policies, and now hardworking Americans are paying the price.”
