D.C. – The Republican
National Committee released the following statement in response to the
July jobs report.
“The Trump economy is delivering real results for American workers and
families,” said RNC Communications Director Zach Parkinson. “Prices
for gas and groceries are down, inflation has fallen, the economy has added
half a million jobs since January, wage growth is at 4%, and the stock market
just reached record highs. Meanwhile, Democrats voted for the largest tax hike
in American history, which would have killed jobs, crushed take-home pay for
workers, and crippled U.S. manufacturing. The contrast on the economy couldn’t
be clearer.”
