WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley released a statement on Kamala Harris’ campaign events in Michigan:
“Under President Trump, Ford and General Motors invested over $2 billion in domestic auto manufacturing plants across Michigan, which led to the creation of 3,400 new auto manufacturing jobs. Kamala Harris’ dangerously liberal EV mandates would destroy 37,000 auto jobs in Michigan alone, and in Harris’ America Last economy, gas prices hit record highs and inflation is up 20 percent. More than 60 percent of Michiganders do not support Kamala’s radical EV mandate, and in November, their vote will be loud and clear: Harris is not for Michigan or America.”
