Acting Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling's nomination hearing:
“President Trump has made
yet another outstanding choice by nominating Keith Sonderling as permanent
Secretary of Labor,” said Chairman Gruters. “Keith is a dedicated public
servant who served at the Department of Labor in the first Trump Administration
working to increase compliance of federal labor laws and improve workforce
development, particularly in the AI industry. He has a proven track record of
advancing policies that empower American workers and will continue President
Trump's mission of unleashing economic opportunity, increasing wages, and
bringing American jobs back from overseas. The Senate should move to confirm
him as swiftly as possible.”
