Washington D.C. – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Joe Gruters released the following statement on Michigan's Democrat Senate primary:

“Abdul El-Sayed is Michigan's Mamdani and embodies the socialist takeover that wants to do away with the American way of life by abolishing ICE, opening borders, raising taxes, and sympathizing with terrorists. In a race that pits common sense against crazy, veteran and former FBI agent Mike Rogers will defeat El-Sayed this November, end 32 years of one-party Democrat rule, and Get Michigan Working Again.”

• Threatened to “choke out” Republicans

• Crashed out over the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader

• Called to defund the police
• Backed the mass release of murderers and rapists
• Supports socialist healthcare like Medicare for All
• Doubled down on campaigning with terrorist sympathizer Hasan Piker
• Encourages illegal immigrants getting drivers licenses 
• Is a fake doctor who never practiced medicine
• Rails about getting money out of politics while making in the top 1% of households in Michigan
