WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the Nebraska primary elections:
“Congratulations to gubernatorial nominee Jim Pillen, Mike Flood, the entire Nebraska Congressional Delegation and Republicans up-and-down the ballot on their hard-fought victories tonight. Republicans are united against Biden’s failed agenda and our enthusiasm is unmatched – we look forward to keeping the Cornhusker State red come November.”
Background:
- Republican enthusiasm remains high across Nebraska as cornhuskers grow weary of the effects the Democrats’ agenda continues to have on their children, families, businesses, and farms.
- Nebraska has and continues to be a red state thanks to Republican policies that put cornhusker families first. Tuesday’s primary made it clear that they aren’t interested in supporting Democrats who will support Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi’s agenda in Washington.
- So far this cycle, the RNC has recruited and trained nearly 1,000 volunteers who have made over 220,000 voter contacts in the Cornhusker State.
