WASHINGTON - Following the North Carolina General Assembly’s passage of voting changes to ensure voting access for those affected by Hurricane Helene, RNC Chairman Michael Whatley released the following statement:
“I applaud North Carolina legislators for their quick and comprehensive action to ensure that North Carolinians struggling to recover from Hurricane Helene are not deprived of their right to vote. Under these new rules, the RNC and NCGOP will work hand in hand to mobilize voters, get folks to the polls, and deliver North Carolina for President Trump for a third time.”
