240,988 illegal immigrants were encountered attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in October – the highest number ever recorded for October in DHS history
WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the October border encounters:
“Month after month, Biden’s border crisis breaks record after record with no end in sight. Over 8.2 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border since Biden took office – making our world and our country less safe. Our southern border is wide open, cartels and smugglers are thriving, yet Biden and Democrats still refuse to accept responsibility for the humanitarian crisis they created."
