Chairman Michael Whatley released the following statement after President
Trump signed the One, Big, Beautiful Bill into law.
“After months of hard work by President Trump and Republicans, the One, Big,
Beautiful Bill is now law,” said Chairman Whatley. “This bill keeps the
promises President Trump and Republicans in Congress made to the American
people on the campaign trail last year: cutting taxes, permanently securing the
border, and eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse. Every single Democrat voted
for the largest tax hike in U.S. history by opposing this bill. Democrats voted
against border security, protecting Medicaid for Americans who need it, bigger
paychecks, and reversing wasteful government spending. Republicans delivered
where Democrats failed — by putting American families, workers, and taxpayers
first.”
