Washington D.C. – Republican National
Committee (RNC) Chairman Joe Gruters released the following statement after 46
Senate Democrats voted against funding for Border Patrol and ICE:
“Senate Democrats have once
again made their priorities crystal clear: illegal aliens come first, American
citizens come last,” said Chairman Gruters. “By voting against funding
for Border Patrol and ICE, Democrats are actively undermining the law
enforcement officers who protect our borders, remove criminal illegal aliens,
and keep our communities safe. This is the same radical agenda that fueled the
border crisis, and instead of learning from their failures, Democrats are
doubling down.”
