WASHINGTON – Today, following the release of the special counsel report that reduced the President of the United States to a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement:

“The special counsel’s report exposed two things: we have a two-tiered justice system, and our president is mentally unfit to lead. While the report acknowledges that Biden willfully broke the law, it then claims that Biden is too ‘sympathetic’ and ‘elderly’ to be convicted. That’s absurd on its face.

“Joe Biden’s mental decline is both sad and alarming, and putting a ‘sympathetic,’ ‘elderly’ man who can’t remember major events from his own life back in the Oval Office would undoubtedly make America less safe. It’s no wonder that Americans are still being held hostage by terrorists, our soldiers are under attack abroad, prices have skyrocketed, and crime has run rampant here at home – Joe Biden can’t handle the job.”
