Real average hourly earnings fell 1.7 percent since last year, marking the 21st month in a row under Biden in which inflation has outpaced wages.
WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the December Consumer Price Index:
“Joe Biden’s out-of-touch agenda is raising the prices for gas and groceries and causing the great American pay cut. There is no relief for struggling families who are seeing their paychecks wiped out and livelihoods destroyed by Biden’s economy. The bottom line: since Democrats passed their wasteful spending, real wages have fallen every month.”
