WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley released a statement on September’s CPI report:
“New inflation data shows that prices are still rising and inflation is hotter than expected thanks to Kamalanomics. Overall prices have risen 20.5% since Harris and Biden took office and yearly inflation has averaged at 5.2%--nearly three times higher than the average under President Trump’s America First policies. Under Kamala Harris’ failed leadership, groceries are up 22.1%, rent is up 22.9%, electricity is up 31.3%, and car insurance is up 56.5%--but Harris wouldn’t change a thing. Voters must elect President Trump to turn the page on Kamala’s economic crisis and Make America Affordable, Prosperous, and Great Again!”
