WASHINGTON – Ahead of Kamala Harris’ remarks in North Carolina, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley released the following statement:
“North Carolinians are paying the price for Kamala Harris’ soft-on-crime and wide open border policies that have swamped our communities with a wave of break-ins and an increase in homicides. Crime is running rampant thanks to statewide police shortages brought by the ‘ Defund the Police’ activists Kamala surrounds herself with – including her running mate Tim Walz. North Carolinians like myself trust Republicans like President Trump and Dan Bishop to get our state back on track, enforce tough-on-crime policies, close the southern border, and make our country great again.”
