WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the West Virginia primary elections:
“West Virginians are in good hands with Congresswoman Carol Miller and Congressman Alex Mooney as we work to take back the House in November. Americans reject Biden’s historic inflation, gas hike, and crisis at our southern border, and will vote for Republicans up-and-down the ballot.”
Background:
- With the Democrats abandoning West Virginia values in favor of coastal elite policies that raise prices and taxes, Republicans will continue to out-register Democrats. In February of 2021, Republicans overtook Democrats in statewide voter registration.
- Republican candidates across the state are unified and ready to put an end to $4.00 per gallon of gas, record-inflation, historic labor shortages, and ridiculous spending sprees that continue to put immense pressure on West Virginia families.
