WASHINGTON — Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement in honor of Ramadan:
“We send our warmest wishes to all our Muslim friends observing the holy month of Ramadan. With the rising of tonight’s crescent moon, Muslims around the world will enter into a sacred period marked by reflection, spiritual discipline and increased devotion to prayer. Over the past year especially, Americans of all faiths have seen the transformative power of prayer during difficult times. May all Muslims have a blessed Ramadan, and may all Americans adopt the same spirit of prayer, charity and goodwill that defines this month.”
