269,735 illegal immigrants were encountered attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in September – the highest number ever recorded in a single month
WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the September border encounters:
“Under Joe Biden – our southern border is wide open and our country is less safe. This September, more illegal immigrants were encountered attempting to cross the border than ever before, and Biden still refuses to call this a ‘crisis.’ Republicans will continue to hold Biden and Democrats accountable for their resounding failures, and work to keep our communities and families safe.”
