Welcome to the RNC weekly newsletter - The Republican Week - bringing you the biggest moments from the week.
THE MAIN THING: RNC Slams Biden Administration for Vaccine Mandate Lies In New Videos

WATCH HERE
The Daily Wire and FOX News reported on two new videos released this week from the Republican National Committee (RNC) slamming the Biden administration’s flip-flops and lies about forcing vaccine mandates.
- The first video, reported on in The Daily Wire, slams administration officials, including Anthony Fauci, Jen Psaki, and Joe Biden, who declared that there would not be or that they doubted there would ever be a federal vaccine mandate.
- The second video, first reported on in FOX News, unmasks Fauci’s inconsistent and dishonest track record on vaccine mandates.
The Republican National Committee continues to call out the White House for its lies and irresponsible lack of leadership:
- “Joe Biden’s failure to own any of the crises plaguing his administration has led to this unconstitutional, un-American federal overreach which will ultimately punish small businesses and families. Americans deserve better” - RNC spokesperson Emma Vaughn
Reminder: The Republican National Committee announced its intention to sue if Biden implements the federal overreach on Americans and small businesses.
- Not only would a federal vaccine mandate be a burden to small businesses that have barely survived the lockdowns of the past year, they are an improper use of the administrative state to make law and supersede the rights of states to govern themselves.
- A federal vaccine mandate would also disproportionately affect minorities: Only 43% of Black Americans and 48% of Hispanic Americans have taken the vaccine, compared with 52% of White Americans.
- “The Biden administration’s demonization of unvaccinated Americans, many of whom are Black and Brown, is “a deliberate and targeted discrimination, a clear barrier to entry for new employment, and a deterrent to return to work,” writes Paris Dennard, National Spokesperson and director of Black media affairs.
The bottom line: For Joe Biden, this is about “power, all about control, and meant to divide us.”
- “Joe Biden promised to shut down the virus – he failed. Biden promised he would not force mandates on Americans – he lied. Biden is forcing an unconstitutional, un-American federal decree on businesses and families.” - RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel
RNC Demands Biden Fire Blinken

WATCH HERE
The RNC has called on Joe Biden to fire Secretary of State Antony Blinken for his failures in Afghanistan.
Blinken’s failures include:
- Handing over manifests to the Taliban but refusing to answer how many American names were given to the Taliban.
- Claiming ignorance about how many Americans were left stranded in Afghanistan, but asserting that the number of abandoned citizens, lawful permanent residents, and green card holders was in the “thousands.”
- Had, “of course,” left U.S. weapons in Taliban hands and that the Biden administration is refusing to rule out giving aid to the Taliban.
RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel slammed Biden and Blinken:
- “Antony Blinken continues to peddle lies about Biden and his disastrous handling of Afghanistan, the lives of Americans he left stranded in the Taliban-run country, and his failed leadership on the world stage. Today’s hearing makes Blinken’s failures and lies abundantly clear – Biden has no choice but to fire Blinken, hold him accountable, and take responsibility for the disaster he created.”
Blinken is either unable or unwilling to execute his sworn duty to defend the United States of America. He must be fired.
RNC Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Opening of Milwaukee Hispanic Community Center

WATCH HERE
On Tuesday, the RNC opened a new Hispanic Community Center in Milwaukee to kick of Hispanic Heritage Month.
- This is part of the RNC’s multi-million dollar commitment to continue our organizing efforts in Asian-Pacific American, Black, and Hispanic communities in key states across the country.
Chairwoman McDaniel told WISN, the Republican Party is actively pursuing minority voters – especially in urban communities like Milwaukee:
- "We have many shared values, but habitually the Republican Party has not shown up to these communities. So when you talk about things like school choice, when you talk about defunding the police, there's so many things that we discuss as a party that really resonate in the Hispanic community but we can't just talk about it a month before the election."
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on the opening, “The Milwaukee office was the sixth opening with plans to have around 40 offices operating nationally by the end of the year.
- The RNC Hispanic Community Center will allow Republicans to build relationships and establish trust with voters throughout Milwaukee and make in-roads within the community through a message of growth and opportunity for all.

The Trend: Month after month, States with Republican governors and legislatures are leading the economic recovery with pro-worker and pro-growth policies.
- Meanwhile, Biden and the Democrats are calling for trillions more in taxes and unconstitutional mandates that would further smother an economic recovery.
- Democrat-controlled states continue to lag behind neighboring Republican-led states.
The bottom line: The data is clear – while Biden continues to push his job-crushing agenda and forced vaccine requirements, Republican-led states continue to lead the way in job growth and getting Americans back to work.
