1 YEAR: The "highly unlikely" inflation problem

Rapid Response

It seems like everyday marks one year since Biden falsely claimed inflation wasn’t a real problem, and today is no exception.

A year ago, Biden was asked what his “administration [was] doing to ensure the poor and middle class are not hurt by rising prices.” His answer? He claimed rising prices weren’t a problem and that sustained inflation was “highly unlikely.”

12 months later, consumer prices reached a new-Biden high of 9.1% in June, 60% of workers are worried about their paychecks being able to support their families, and 75% say inflation is the most important economic problem facing their family.

One thing is for sure: Biden’s lies aren’t paying the bills.
