Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz just testified that 385,000 known illegal “gotaways” have escaped into the U.S. so far in FY 2023. That new number combined with previous reporting brings the total number of “gotaways” to over 1.3 MILLION under Joe Biden.
That is a conservative estimate. According to Chief Ortiz, estimating for unknown “gotaways” increases that number by up to 20%, or as high as 1.5 million under Biden.
When Mayorkas and Biden insist the border is “secure,” they are lying. Chief Ortiz told the Homeland Security Committee we do NOT have operational control of our border.
And what of the Democrats who boycotted this hearing like Dina Titus and Seth Magaziner? They are literally on the HOMELAND SECURITY Committee. Border security fits the bill. But obviously they don’t care enough about the security of our homeland to even bother showing up.
