The Biden administration is spreading the outright lie that the border crisis is a “very new” situation.
For those who have not been keeping track, migrants from more than 160 countries have been encountered at the border since Biden took office, and illegal encounters have been above 150,000 for 18 straight months.
Those are facts. Indeed, it’s why so many called out Biden’s bogus “root causes” narrative at the beginning of his administration. The number of illegal immigrants not from Mexico or the Northern Triangle – graph below – has been increasing since Biden took office, and has been extremely elevated since at least July 2021.
The “root cause” is and always has been Biden’s open borders agenda. Their spin was false then, and is false now. Don’t let them get away with it.
