With today’s Producer Price Index, wholesale inflation has now been at or above 5% for 20 straight months. And not only that, the report indicates that inflation accelerated last month.
Reminder: The same economic team is in place today that made it their policy to deny the facts around inflation. First they said inflation was a good thing, then they said it was “temporary,” then they called it a “high class problem,” and then they blamed everyone but themselves for it.
Turns out the administration that has spent two years lying about inflation is unable to solve it. Thankfully, there will soon be a Republican majority in the House to keep Biden and the Democrats from doubling down on the policies that fueled inflation in the first place.
