24 months of negative real wages

Today’s Consumer Price Index marks the 23^rd straight month inflation has been at or above 5%, and the 24^th straight month of negative real wages.

It’s why poll after poll shows Americans disapprove of Joe Biden’s economy:

• GALLUP POLL: 83% have a negative view of the economy.
• CNBC SURVEY: 70% are financially stressed and 58% are living paycheck to paycheck.
• CNN POLL: 62% disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy, and only 32% say he deserves to be reelected.

This has been a real-wages recession for workers, and American families are poorer as a result.
