26,000 Gotaways In 10 Days

The number of “gotaways” – illegal immigrants who cross the border and escape into the U.S. – is skyrocketing as officials are already overwhelmed by the growing surge at the border.

According to U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz, there have been over 26,000 known “gotaways” who have escaped into the U.S. in just the last 10 days.

As Border Patrol is forced off the front lines to process an ever-growing number of illegal immigrants, more and more operational control of the border is ceded to the cartels and human smugglers.

Meanwhile, border sheriffs say they have received “no operational plan” from the Biden administration ahead of the end of Title 42.
