30 reasons to reject Tim Ryan

Tonight, J.D. Vance and Tim Ryan have a town hall on Fox News. For most Ohioans, it’s already clear that Ryan should never be a senator. But in case you haven’t been following this race, here are 30 reasons why.

Ryan is a Failed Career Politician

1. He’s a failed politician who has only passed 5 pieces of legislation in his 20 years in Congress, 3 of which were renaming federal buildings.
2. The community Ryan is supposed to represent has suffered since he took office.
   1. Manufacturing: The Mahoning Valley has lost 24,900 manufacturing jobs since Ryan took office.
   2. Overdoses: From 2005 to 2020, overdoses in Mahoning County have increased 350%, in Trumbull County by 330%, and in Portage County by 400%.
   3. Household Income: Household income has severely lagged behind the rest of Ohio while Ryan has been in office.
   4. Poverty: From 2001 to 2020, poverty increased in Mahoning County, Trumbull County, and Portage County.
   5. Population: From 2000 to 2020, the population of both Mahoning County and Trumbull County shrank.

Ryan is Far-Left on Crime and Border Security

3. In 2019, Ryan said he was “all for” releasing all "nonviolent criminals” — which includes fentanyl dealers.
4. Ryan supports “decreasing the federal prison population by 50%.”
   1. The ACLU even thanked him for making “the ACLU commitment.”
5. He wants to institute cashless bail nationwide; the same policy that’s been a disaster in New York.
6. Ryan has “no opinion” on if judges should consider public safety when setting bail for criminal defendants.
7. The Ohio Fraternal Order of Police, which represents 25,000 law enforcement officials, has endorsed J.D. Vance.
8. He has aided and abetted drug cartels by allowing Joe Biden to throw the border wide open.
9. Ryan backs ending ICE detainers and decreasing immigrant detention by 75%.
10. When it comes to campaign donations, he is a hypocrite on the fentanyl crisis.
11. He has done nothing as fentanyl, smuggled by Mexican cartels, poisons Americans at “record rates.”

Ryan Backs Inflation and Middle-Class Tax Hikes

12. Ryan voted for Biden’s inflation-fueling spending that has led to real wages declining at the fastest pace in 40 years.
13. He voted to raise the tax burden on Americans making as little as $20,000 a year through the Bidenflation Scam.

Ryan Wants to Wage War on American Energy
