Democrats in Washington, D.C. need a basic math lesson.
Despite it being a flat-out lie, Biden insisted again today that $3.5 trillion equals $0 dollars.
The fact of the matter is my Build Back Better Agenda costs $0 — and it won’t raise taxes on anyone making under $400,000 a year. We’re going to pay for it by ensuring those at the top and big corporations pay their fair share.

It should be needless to say, but $3.5 trillion DOES NOT equal $0. Chris Wallace was right to call out Biden advisor Cedric Richmond on this lunacy yesterday.
CHRIS WALLACE: “If it’s a $2 trillion spending plan...it costs $2 trillion dollars.”

Maybe a visual aid will help Biden realize how different the numbers $3.5 trillion and zero actually are. A $100 bill is 0.0043 inches thick. If you were to stack enough $100 bills on top of each other to total $3.5 trillion, that stack would extend for 2,375.32 miles.
Let’s put that number in perspective:

Raising taxes to pay for a massive socialist spending spree does not make it free. Only a swampy career politician could ever think that.
It raises an important question, if they can’t even be honest about the cost of their wish list, how can Americans trust them to spend all of this taxpayer money? The answer: They can’t.
