🥳 365 Days Of Vacation 🥳

Rapid Response

Today is a BIG DAY for Joe Biden, who is celebrating his 365th day on vacation since taking office.

After wrapping up a week at the beach, Biden immediately headed for Wilmington, where he’ll spend the rest of the weekend in solitude. A lid was promptly declared by 10:16 a.m.

It’s a familiar routine for Biden, who has spent nearly four out of every ten days — 39.4 percent of his presidency — on vacation.

In fact, Biden is on track to outpace each of his modern predecessors in leisure time:

  • Over two full terms, Obama spent 328 days (11.2%), Bush 43 spent 1,020 days (34.9%), Clinton spent 345 days (11.8%), and Reagan spent 335 days (11.5%) on vacation.
  • Over a single term, Trump spent 381 days (26%), Bush 41 spent 533 days (36.5%), and Carter spent 79 days (5.4%) on vacation.

And that’s by The Washington Post’s own standard.

Of course, Biden lacks stamina and requires frequent rest; there’s a reason two-thirds of all voters “have concerns about [Biden] having the necessary mental and physical health to serve.”

He’s leading by his own example — weakness.
