Democrats shut down the
government for 43 days – the longest and most damaging government shutdown
in American history. And yet, they wish it lasted even longer.

Democrats ripped away paychecks
and benefits from the hands of hardworking Americans right before the holidays,
and they are showing zero remorse. In fact, many Democrats are upset
the suffering is over:
- Leader Hakeem
Jeffries called the shutdown “valiant.”
- Rep. Stephen
Lynch said he is "furious" that the government
reopened.
- Rep. Delia
Ramirez: "The reality is, Chuck Schumer failed us.”
- Rep. Pramila
Jayapal: “I was absolutely furious, I still am.”
- Rep. Seth
Moulton — who voted twice for the Democrat Shutdown in the
House — said he would have done the same if he were in the Senate.
- Senator Adam
Schiff: "I was... bitterly opposed to providing them the
votes they needed."
- Senator Elissa
Slotkin called it "disappointing" that the shutdown
ended.
- Illinois
Governor JB
Pritzker: “That’s probably the biggest mistake I’ve seen maybe in
my political career.”
- Texas
Democrat U.S. Senate candidate James
Talarico: "I think we should have held out until we got what
we wanted."
Democrats have repeatedly made
it clear where their loyalty lies, and it’s not with the American people.
Democrats put American workers
and families at risk just to push their radical agenda,
and in the end, they still accomplished nothing.
