85,000 children in danger

Rapid Response

Yesterday, we learned that over 190,000 illegal immigrants were encountered at the southwest border in March, marking 25 months of the worst border crisis in U.S. history.

On the same day, a report from The New York Times detailed how the border crisis was allowing the horrifying exploitation of children.

Career officials and outside groups told the Biden White House that their policies – which prioritized emptying shelters as soon as possible – were putting thousands of children into physical danger and abusive situations. In fact, the agency has lost track of 85,000 children who crossed the border since Biden took office.

Even as the administration ignored warnings, handwritten notes from 2021 show that Biden advisor Susan Rice KNEW their administration’s policies were fueling the surge of children to the border.

Two years ago, Biden insisted “we've now gotten control” when asked about the large number of unaccompanied children arriving at the border. In reality, his policies were abandoning children to exploitation and abuse.
