9 More Pharmaceutical Companies Sign On to Trump Price Cuts

President Trump just announced that 9 more major pharmaceutical companies will now offer Americans the lowest prescription drug prices in the world.

President Trump announced deals with Amgen, Bristol Myers Squibb, Boehringer Ingelheim, Genentech, Gilead Sciences, GSK, Merck, Novartis, and Sanofi.

The announcement follows President Trump’s crackdown on pharmaceutical companies in July to cut prescription drug costs.
 


In less than five months, President Trump negotiated the lowest prescription drug prices and billions of investments from 14 major pharmaceutical companies. 

President Trump previously announced:

  • Eli Lilly: $27 billion in new manufacturing investments (read more)
  • Novo Nordisk: $10 billion investment to strengthen its domestic footprint (read more)
