A Biden Baby Formula Shortage

There is a growing baby formula shortage in this country, and Joe Biden has hardly said a word about it.

According to an analysis from Datasembly, 40% of major baby formula brands were sold out across the country at the end of April.

As reported by CBS News, that means “many parents around the country are reporting the same thing, bare shelves or very low stock of baby formula.”

  • The executive director of a diaper bank in Los Angeles: "It's a crisis situation right now…now we are nearly empty."
  • Tiffany, a mom in Orlando, Florida whose son needs a special formula: “I am worried…Once we do run out of this formula, what’s going to happen if they're sold out?"
  • Ashleigh, a Jacksonville mother whose son needs a specific formula from the manufacturer: “I cannot get food for my child. I cannot feed her son.”
  • Shauna, a Nebraska mom: “It’s just become impossible to find.”
  • Katie, one of many forced to drive 3 to 4 hours to find formula: “I don’t know how I’m going to feed my child….now going to the shelves and there’s nothing there…this is scary.”
  • Andrea, the executive director of a food pantry in Texas: “We’re seeing lots of people who have never needed to go to a pantry before reach out, whether that’s for diapers, or baby formula, or some other pantry need.”
  • Joy, a mom short of baby formula: “It’s just been overwhelming and scary.”

And while the crisis is reaching new heights around Mother’s Day, industry watchdogs and companies have been warning of massive shortages for months, and Biden has done NOTHING.

Instead he has declared victory and insisted shortages “didn’t actually occur.” Those false claims are cold comfort to the many moms searching for food for their families.
