Yesterday, Speaker Kevin McCarthy led a Congressional delegation in a historic meeting with Taiwan’s president to reaffirm America’s support for the people of Taiwan.

What a contrast to Joe Biden. At the same time as this historic meeting, alarm bells were sounding at the White House press briefing as Karine Jean-Pierre was confronted on Biden’s failures concerning the CCP spy balloon.
After NBC News reported that the spy balloon was able to gather sensitive intelligence, Republicans like Sen. Roger Wicker called out the Biden administration for “[choosing] to mislead the public about the steps they took to counter an adversarial asset over our homeland.” Indeed, serious questions remain like why the balloon was allowed to enter U.S. airspace.
This balloon could not have been more public, yet Biden still misled the American people so openly and failed so spectacularly. That should worry every American about the threats and failures we don’t know about.
