Yesterday, Republicans FLIPPED Texas’ 34th congressional district, an 84% Hispanic district in the deep-blue Rio Grande Valley.
Let’s put how massive that is in perspective. Democrats won in TX-34 by 25.4% in 2016, 20% in 2018, and 13.6% in 2020.
But Congresswoman-elect Mayra Flores turned the district red, reflecting a HUGE swing towards the GOP among Hispanic voters as the RNC makes historic investments in outreach.
Flores truly represents what is great about America. Soon to be the first Mexican-born U.S. Congresswoman, she stands strong for conservative values of family and freedom. The RNC was proud to support her. As Flores noted, “the RNC has played a huge role here in South Texas.”
How much are Democrats panicking? The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is now adding D+7 districts to their “Frontline” program.
Democrats are running scared, and with Biden as their national standard-bearer, they should be.
