A huge win for election integrity

Rapid Response

Today’s Supreme Court ruling is a huge win for election integrity and huge blow to the Democrats’ partisan lies.

In Brnovich v. Democratic National Committee, Democrats asked the Supreme Court to transform the plain language of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act into a blank check that would allow for courts to strike down ordinary election laws without limit. Democrats wanted the court to strike down Arizona’s ban on ballot harvesting, which prevents bad actors with malicious intent from coercing voters or altering ballots, and its law requiring voters to vote in the correct precinct, which allows for the efficient administration of Arizona’s elections.

In a resounding 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court saw through the Democrats’ lies.

The Republican National Committee is proud to have worked closely with the Arizona Republican Party, NRSC, and NRCC to provide legal expertise and the resources to hire top-tier, specialist Supreme Court advocates. The RNC will keep pushing back against Democrat efforts to tear down election integrity provisions, and we will keep fighting for commonsense measures that make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.
