A Tale of Two Border Visits

Rapid Response

Today, Biden chases President Trump to the southern border — but that’s where the similarities end.

Rank-and-file members of the U.S. Border Patrol have a message for Biden: don’t bother.

Biden’s visit — only his second border visit EVER — will be a brief, sanitized drive-by in a location seeing very few instances of illegal immigration. Biden is expected to do nothing but complain about a crisis for which he is directly responsible.

Border Patrol agents — “extremely upset” by Biden’s pathetic attempt at pandering in an election year — weren’t even invited to meet with Biden.

Instead, they’ll join President Trump — whose successful border security policies Biden dismantled — as Trump spends the entire day meeting with residents, visiting state and local officials, and speaking to the American people from a community overwhelmed by illegal border crossings.

Border Patrol Union President Brandon Judd said it best: “The agents who have worked under both Trump and Biden have experienced first-hand the competent, caring leadership of Trump and the deadly, disastrous ‘leadership’ of Joe Biden.”
