Democrat Fails, Hypocrisy, and Lies

All tricks, no treats from McAuliffe

Rapid Response

This Halloween, it’s all tricks and no treats from Democrat Terry McAuliffe.

McAuliffe – who will say anything to get elected – has been running scared in recent weeks:

  • Afraid to be confronted on the mess in Loudoun County, McAuliffe dispatched a staffer to run interference between a reporter and Democrat Gov. Ralph Northam.
  • McAuliffe’s campaign desperately attempted to “kill” a Fox News story regarding controversial payments to a D.C. Democrat election lawyer.
  • McAuliffe abruptly ended an interview with a local TV reporter early, admonishing the reporter that he “should have asked better questions.”
  • After requesting a high-profile national interview, McAuliffe’s campaign limited the would-be 20-minute interview to only five minutes.

What, exactly, is McAuliffe afraid of? Probably his record and his plans… which are truly terrifying:

  • McAuliffe’s economic proposal would result in the biggest tax hike in Virginia history, costing families an additional $5,400 per year.
  • Despite education being a top issue for voters, McAuliffe has repeatedly doubled down on his insistence that parents should have no role in their kids’ education.
  • As governor, McAuliffe promised deals worth 14,000 new jobs in Virginia – and failed to deliver.
  • McAuliffe has embraced the “defund the police” movement.

Meanwhile, Republican Glenn Youngkin has a commonsense plan he will implement on day one to help Virginia families, workers, and businesses.

Virginians would do well to reject McAuliffe and his lies.
