Americans Are Fed Up, Not Gassed Up

Rapid Response

“Ridiculous,” “insane,” “sick to my stomach,” “outrageous,” “it hurts” …. These are just some of the ways Americans are describing Biden’s record-high gas prices at the pump.

Americans are fed up after Biden has attacked American energy for over a year and promoted his radical leftist energy agenda:

  • Kevin in California: “This is ridiculous.”
  • A DoorDash driver in California: “I’m going to be more broke.”
  • A commuter in Los Angeles, California: “Too damn high makes commuting difficult because who wants to pay that?”
  • Jose in California: “When the gas is going up, food is going up, everything else is going up, but the salary is not going up, it’s still the same.”
  • Zare in California: “It’s absolutely insane.”
  • Steve in California: “I’m spending a lot of money just on gas alone. Ooh, it hurts, it hurts a lot!”
  • Alfram in Connecticut: My retirement check is “not enough right now.”
  • A Florida commuter: Biden “shut down a gas line — now we depend on everyone else and their countries to supply our gas. Just seems a little bit ridiculous.”
  • Will, a small business owner in Kansas: I have had to pay “close to $20,000 more this last year than we did the year before just on fuel alone.”
  • A frustrated driver in Louisiana: “I don’t know how we’re going to be able to pay for all this.”
  • Russ in Massachusetts: “Sick to my stomach—you think back probably two to three years ago, we were energy self-efficient. We didn’t have to buy oil or gas, now things have gone just in the opposite direction...They’re killing the working man.”
  • Lauren in Michigan: I have to “to think about putting gasoline prices before buying my kids clothes.”
  • Angela in Mississippi: “It’s ridiculous how gas is going up and not the pay.”
  • A woman filling up her gas tank in Missouri: “Gas is going up, and the food is up too. [My] pocket is drained. I don’t know what to do.”
  • Larry in Nevada: “I’ve been out here 50 years; it’s crazy.”
  • Alan in New Jersey: “The mandates, the high taxes in New Jersey. Now it’s the high inflation, high gas prices, high grocery prices.”
  • Terry in North Carolina: “Gas prices going up, of course, it affects the business because our mowers, everything I have runs off gas.”
  • Rocky in Oregon: “Prices are ridiculous, they need to lower them, it’s causing a lot of people problems…Before all this hit, I was able to go up and go fishing 2-3 times a week easily on $20. $20 today ain’t taking you nowhere.”
  • Mohamed in Pennsylvania: “Life is more difficult right now.”
  • A struggling mom in South Dakota: “My son was born prematurely four weeks ago. I’ve been up at the hospital every day since. It’s something that’s been a concern because, you know, the way the truck eats up gas.”
  • Walter in Tennessee: “It’s trying times. Like I say, I’m on a fixed income, and it doesn’t sit well at all with me.”
  • Victor in Texas: “It’s emptying the pocket. I’m on a fixed income, so it hurts a lot.”

Biden is completely out of touch. While he doubles down on his radical green agenda, everyday Americans are fed up bearing the brunt of his failed policies.

Americans deserve better. It’s time to unleash U.S. energy.
