There’s a reason why Americans, by the biggest margin since 1991, trust Republicans to keep the country prosperous — “Bidenomics” is a failure, and today’s jobs report was the latest indication.
Unemployment increased last month among Black Americans, veterans, Americans without a high school diploma, and Americans who did not attend college, while the labor force participation rate remains well below pre-pandemic levels. Meanwhile, almost half of all small business owners have job openings they cannot fill.
Wage grow also continues to slow as real wages remain lower than when Biden took office — a 3.1 percent pay cut under Biden — while prices have risen by 17.4 percent.
The volatile Biden economy is having an extraordinarily negative impact on everyday Americans. In just the past week, Americans have wrestled with average 30-year fixed mortgage rates reaching the highest level in more than two decades, the average monthly payment for a new vehicle hitting a new record high, and a new report calling housing “less affordable than ever.”
Americans aren’t feeling “Bidenomics” — and that’s the only metric that matters.
