Americans want more policing.

According to a new USA Today poll, 73% of Detroit residents want more police officers in their neighborhood, including a majority across every demographic.

Yet, as over a dozen Democrat-run cities defund their police departments, Joe Biden refuses to condemn those in his party endangering our communities. 

Instead, the desperate calls for Democrats to stop their defund-the-police madness are falling on deaf ears, as Democrats double down on their failing agenda.

In D.C., Police Chief Robert Contee is calling for more resources after the department shrunk by 200 officers this year, and residents are “begging the city for more policing.”

 In Oakland, Police Chief LeRonne Armstrong decried the Democrat-run city council’s decision to defund $18 million from police. Meanwhile, residents say “we need more police” to deal with the dramatic surge in crime.

 And in San Francisco, Americans say “we need more police officers” as a crime wave plagues the city.

Instead of listening to the American people, Democrats are forcing more officers to leave the force through their defund the police vendetta. Biden needs to stop lying and finally end his silence on Democrat-run cities defunding the police. It’s time Biden put the safety of the American people first, not far-left special interests.
