Another month, another disappointing jobs report under Joe Biden.
At the current pace under Biden, the economy will not recover all the jobs lost due to the pandemic until June 2022.
Why? Biden’s agenda is squandering the economy he inherited.
Even Democrats are conceding Biden’s hidden tax of rising prices is a “real worry,” and ahead of the holiday weekend, gas prices are at the highest level in 7 years.

Meanwhile, small businesses are feeling a “gut punch” from Biden’s policies, as mom-and-pop stores are forced to compete with Biden paying people not to work. As MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough notes, many can’t: “One business after another business is going out of business. They’ve held on as long as they could and now that they can open their doors, they’re not able to.”

Even former Obama economist Jason Furman agreed that Biden’s unemployment policies are holding the economy back.
Biden spent $1.9 trillion dollars on a far-left wish list, and the best thing economists have to say about it is that its unemployment provisions end in September. Thankfully, at least 25 states – all with Republican governors – have announced they will end this harmful policy before then, helping Americans get back to work and businesses hire.
Today’s jobs report makes clear: The last thing the American economy needs is more wasteful spending and tax hikes. Biden needs to get out of the way and let the American economy get back to work again.
