Biden’s border crisis is in record territory — again.
In a weekend news dump, the Biden administration just announced 269,735 illegal immigrants were encountered at the southern border in September — the highest monthly total ever recorded and a cap on the worst fiscal year on record.

Since Biden took office, 7.8+ million illegal immigrants have crossed the border. That includes at least 1.6 million “gotaways” — illegal immigrants who escaped Border Patrol and vanished into the country — which are currently averaging more than 1,000 each day. Meanwhile, at least 169 individuals on the terror watchlist were arrested at the southern border over the last fiscal year, which is more than the previous six years combined.
For 31 straight months, monthly encounters have been higher than even the highest month under the previous administration, while this fiscal year sets a new record for illegal border crossings after breaking the previous record set last fiscal year. As a result, hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants have been released into U.S. communities as illegal crossings reach as high as 10,000 in a single day.
Deadly narcotics also continue to flow into communities across the country at an alarming rate, with just five to ten percent being intercepted as officials struggle to contain the smuggling. In September, 1,404 pounds of deadly fentanyl — the equivalent of approximately 400 million lethal doses — and 12,103 pounds of methamphetamine were seized at the southern border.
Biden has all but forgotten about the border crisis he created, but it’s not going away.
