There’s an ongoing foreign policy disaster unfolding in Afghanistan and Joe Biden is on vacation.
What we are witnessing in Afghanistan is the direct, horrific result of Biden’s failed foreign policy. As Axios put it: “Rarely has an American president's predictions been so wrong, so fast, so convincingly as President Biden on Afghanistan. Usually military operations and diplomacy are long; the outcomes, foggy. Not here.”
Biden said it was “highly unlikely” that the Taliban would overrun Afghanistan. He was wrong.

Biden said there would be “no circumstance where you see people being lifted off the roof of the embassy in the – of the United States from Afghanistan.” Yesterday, Americans witnessed stunning images of just that – Americans being evacuated by helicopter from our embassy in Kabul.

With the Taliban in control of Afghanistan, America and our allies are now less safe because of Biden. Our soldiers, marines, sailors, and airmen who sacrificed so much deserve better.
