Barely 60 seconds on the border

Joe Biden spent barely 60 seconds talking about the border last night. And in those 60 seconds, he insultingly refused to take responsibility for the crisis and absurdly claimed his open borders agenda was successful.

This is the crisis Biden all but ignored:

• Illegal encounters have been above 150,000 for 22 months – the worst crisis in history.
• 1.2 million “gotaways” have escape into the country since Biden took office.
• There have been 5.8 million illegal crossings since Biden took office, including “gotaways.”
• The processing system has broken down, and ICE has lost track of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants in the U.S.
• Cartels are smuggling fentanyl and poisoning our communities at record rates.
• Cities and towns are overwhelmed by migrants, with many sleeping on the street.
• A record number of migrants have died.
• Cartels and smugglers are making huge profits exploiting the crisis.
• Law enforcement officers at the border have died protecting our nation, and officers continue to come under attack.

In December, Biden insisted the border wasn’t “important” enough to warrant his time. Last night, he proved that he still believes that. He just doesn’t care.
