Biden abandons Israel, embraces radicals

Rapid Response

Joe Biden has fully embraced the radicals of the Democrat Party.

During his trip to Michigan, Biden said of radical anti-Israel Democrat Rashida Tlaib: “Now Rashid [sic] … I want to say to you that I admire your intellect, I admire your passion, and I admire your concern for so many other people … you’re a fighter and God thank you for being a fighter.”

This is the same Rashida Tlaib who just DAYS AGO took to the House floor to support the anti-Semitic BDS movement, covering for Hamas as the terrorist group targeted Israel with rockets.

Indeed, Tlaib has a long history of radical, inflammatory, and bigoted language:

  • Tlaib claimed “we need to stop” “enabling” Israel while Hamas was launching rockets at civilians.
  • She called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the “Apartheid-in-chief.”
  • She accused Israel supporters of having a dual loyalty.
  • She said thinking of the Holocaust provides her a “calming feeling.”
    • Defending her comments, she called critics of her Holocaust distortion “racist idiots.”
  • During a press conference, she laughed and joked around as her colleagues discussed U.S. casualties in Iraq.
  • Tlaib defended Ilhan Omar’s “some people did something” 9/11 comments, saying “she does speak truth,” and insisted people are just not “ready” for how Omar discusses issues.
  • She has a long history of associating with terrorist sympathizers.
  • Tlaib’s support for the anti-Semitic BDS movement started long before last week.
  • She posed for photos with a campaign fundraiser who promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

Is this what Biden so admires? Is he endorsing this language?

As president, Biden should be standing up to radicals and standing with Israel. Instead, he is doing the opposite.
