According to newly released emails, Marsha Espinosa, the assistant secretary of DHS public affairs, alerted DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in September 2021 that Border Patrol did not whip migrants. Less than three hours later, Mayorkas smeared Border Patrol from the White House podium.
It wasn’t just Mayorkas, but the whole Biden administration, who knowingly lied, smeared, punished, and weaponized an investigation against Border Patrol agents who have now been officially cleared.
Where are the apologies? Where are the resignations? If Biden and congressional Democrats won’t deliver accountability, the new Republican majorities will.
